Hello fall
written by Janet Harrold
It’s crazy to believe that we are midway through October already! The weather around here has been better than we could have ever imagined, it’s no wonder that fall is my favorite season. Cold cozy nights and warm blankets, crunchy leaves, crispy air and spiced latte’s. I enjoy being able to throw on a scarf a sweater and a great pair of boots!

October is a fun time to work at Cedar Grove Gardens, there are so many exciting things happening this month. The Harvest Festival (Sunday October 26th) brings so much joy to the little ones in our neighborhood as they have a chance to boast their favorite costumes (I wonder how many Disney Princesses or Olaf costumes we will see this year). Pinata’s filled with candy and coins are always a delight, but the big attraction is the horse drawn wagon ride through the brilliant fall foliage and fallen leaves over at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
And for the adults…
An “Evening of Inspiration” is our most sought after and most creative event of the year. This year it will take place on October 27th, 28th and 29th
An evening that is full of demonstrations and entertainment by our talented staff. An evening that you will be talking about long after the night is over. An evening that is sure to knock your socks off! Each year is different, you never know what to expect but the one thing you can always count on is that you will be WOWED. Come by yourself or come with a friend, most prefer to come as a group, either way it is guaranteed to be a night filled with laughter and inspiration.
But that’s not all that October has to offer, we have a large selection of pumpkins and wild selection of funky long neck gourds.
